December Issue

Over the past year, have you been hospitalized or treated for an injury or a sickness?  How about your dependents?  If you have chosen to cover your spouse, domestic partner, and/or children on any of your elective benefits, they may be eligible for benefits as well.  If you have an Accident, Critical Illness, Cancer and/or Hospital Indemnity plan, and you have sought treatment for an injury or illness, now is the time to file claims and receive the benefits available to you under these plans.

Open Enrollment for part-time employees is rapidly approaching. It is imperative for employees to review the valuable benefits available to themselves and their families through Hy-Vee. Employees will make their open enrollment elections and changes on hy-veePTenroll.com, and any new elections or changes will be effective January 1, 2022. 

October Issue

Open Enrollment for full-time/regular-time employees is rapidly approaching. Open Enrollment for elective benefits coincides with open enrollment for core benefits. Employees will make their open enrollment elections or changes on hy-veebenefits.com. Any new elections or changes will be effective January 1, 2022.

Hy-Vee already offers a voluntary benefits program for part-time employees to meet their health, wellness and financial needs. Since last September, Hy-Vee has been contributing toward insurance premium costs for part-time employees who have worked for Hy-Vee for 6 months or longer and have averaged 20 or more hours worked per week. Premium payments for Hy-Vee Elective Benefits plans are conveniently made through payroll deductions. In order to have premiums payroll deducted from your paycheck, you must have worked hours during the previous pay period.
