Growing up here in Iowa, I learned great values, including the importance of saving money for important events in the future, whether it be college, a house, or retirement.  What I didn’t learn were the time-tested yet simple principals of how money works, that people from all walks of life can implement to reach their financial goals and dreams.

Early on, my wife and I worked with a company that tried to push products instead of educate us for success, which left me confused and frustrated.  A few years down the road, we were fortunate enough to have someone sit with us who cared about our financial success first.  They took the time to teach us how any person has access to the power of compound interest, how to streamline and not overspend on financial products, and how a little bit can go a very long way when you adopt a long-term perspective.  I was always fascinated by personal finances and investments, but this transformed my mindset and helped me believe my wife and I could achieve our financial dreams.  When I realized a majority of Americans were left in the dark like us, I was inspired to embark on a career helping families in the same way we were helped.  It was mission for me; one I’ve had the privilege of doing now for almost 9 years.

When I first met the staff at Midwest Heritage, I learned they shared exactly the same mindset and approach as me.  This, coupled with the reputation and core principals of Midwest Heritage and Hy-Vee, Inc., convinced me Midwest Heritage Financial Advisors was the perfect fit for taking the next step in my journey.

Here at Midwest Financial Advisors, the clients’ success drives our business, with a vision of expanding our reach and helping more families achieve the dreams for which they’ve worked so hard.  Just like no one would drive coast-to-coast without a map, unsure of which turns to take, we believe no one should have to work 30-40 years toward a retirement they deserve, without knowing exactly what financial steps are required to achieve it.  This is my passion, and the passion of our whole team.
